Job Description

  • Carry out product research and source new suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.
  • Conduct inventory inspections and reorder supplies and stock as needed.
  • Perform market research to remain abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities.
  • Examine stock and report any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately.
  • Maintain and update records of all orders, payments and received stock.
  • Communicate with the delivery team and follow up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.
  • Build relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers.
  • Make sure all stock is packaged appropriately and delivered to the correct location in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.

Qualifications

  • BSc in Logistics.
