Job Description
- Carry out product research and source new suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate the best or most cost-effective contracts and deals.
- Conduct inventory inspections and reorder supplies and stock as needed.
- Perform market research to remain abreast of emerging trends and business opportunities.
- Examine stock and report any faulty items or inconsistencies immediately.
- Maintain and update records of all orders, payments and received stock.
- Communicate with the delivery team and follow up on delays or orders that have been rescheduled.
- Build relationships with clients as well as vendors and suppliers.
- Make sure all stock is packaged appropriately and delivered to the correct location in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
Qualifications
- BSc in Logistics.
