The meat of camel with bone contains a relatively high quantity of polyunsaturated fatty acids and a low amount of intramuscular fat, making it a healthy meat option. Camel meat is richer in protein and minerals than red meat options like beef. They contain a low level of cholesterol (61 mg) when compared to beef (75-86 mg). Hence, consuming camel meat is more healthy than beef. ‚ÄãThey have higher nutritional value than other animals because of the presence of a high amount of amino acids. Consumption of camel meat is beneficial to cure exhaustion and fatigue as it contains energy needed by body cells. Camel meat is rich in glycogen which is converted into glucose in the body. Camel meat can be made into several dishes that include curry, roast, tenderloin, etc.
Uncooked fresh camel meat can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days or in the freezer for longer.
